OEM8 unifies proprietary signal resilience, advanced positioning, and sensor fusion technology within a common architecture, helping customers accelerate integration and maintain reliable performance under demanding real-world conditions.

Supporting applications across UAVs, robotics, ground transport, defence, geospatial, construction, mining, agriculture, and rail, OEM8 is designed to adapt to evolving operational requirements, while providing a trusted platform for future growth and innovation.

“Our customers are building increasingly intelligent systems in environments where confidence is essential,” said Jonathan Auld, President, NovAtel Positioning Division, Hexagon. “OEM8 reflects our commitment to working alongside those customers, delivering a platform designed to evolve alongside their changing requirements while creating a common architecture for the next generation of NovAtel solutions.”

Meeting evolving market demands requires more than advanced technology alone. It requires a trusted partner that understands the realities of building and operating complex systems in the real world. Shaped by decades of collaboration with customers operating at the forefront of innovation, OEM8 reflects NovAtel’s commitment to helping solve more sophisticated positioning challenges and accelerate the development of next-generation systems.

The introduction of OEM8 marks an important milestone in NovAtel’s evolution as a provider of trusted positioning technology. By establishing a unified platform architecture, OEM8 will enable the company to accelerate innovation, respond more effectively to emerging market needs, and continue to deliver the reliability and confidence customers expect from NovAtel.
