Mark Moffett is HMNAO Senior Analyst within the UKHO. After graduate studies in quantum field theory and a teaching career, he joined HMNAO five years ago and has worked as technical lead, technical specialist, and development lead for HMNAO’s celestial navigation software NavPac. His current focus is on analytical and celestial mechanics, solar system relativity, and the application of physics-informed neural networks to inverse problems of satellite ephemerides.
