Antenna Factor’s  2.4GHz WRT antennas are now available with U.FL connector terminations. These miniature coaxial RF connectors are intended for high-frequency signals, the company said. The 2.4GHz WRT antennas use thin 1.32 millimeter micro coax.

The WRT Series antennas are  suited for applications such as wireless vending, security, traffic, or power equipment that require an unobtrusive, tamper-resistant antenna solution. The tiny 19x11 millimeter radome installs through a small hole on the product and is anchored by a threaded base. An adhesive foam compression ring is used to resist the elements.

The antennas also feature an integral counterpoise, eliminating the need for a proximity ground plane. WRT Series antennas provide favorable performance characteristics. The series is also available at center frequencies of 868MHz, 916MHz, and 2.45GHz, with standard coax and SMA or RP-SMA terminations. Custom colors are available for volume OEM customers.
