NavCom Technology, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Deere & Company, announced the release of the LAND-PAK Survey System. With integrated StarFire/RTK GNSS capabilities, LAND-PAK offers all of the elements of a traditional RTK-based solution with the added benefit of NavCom’s StarFire service and advanced survey tools Ultra RTK & RTK Extend, NavCom said.

The LAND-PAK system includes full GNSS support; field, office, and GNSS post-processing software; all hardware and accessories; plus an online video training library and comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty. LAND-PAK also includes a lifetime license for the StarFire global satellite-based augmentation system providing decimeter horizontal accuracy worldwide and the freedom and flexibility that a DGPS solution offers, NavCom said. Ultra RTK provides RTK-level accuracy up to 40 kilometers away from a base station while NavCom’s patented RTK Extend allows for continuous RTK positioning during radio outages.

NavCom claimed the integrated package meets the needs of even the most demanding surveyor. “LAND-PAK is a turn-key StarFire/RTK survey solution that has the flexibility to meet the needs of even the most demanding survey,“ said Steve Wilson, NavCom’s GNSS products business manager. “With LAND-PAK, surveyors can now purchase one system that includes all the best tools to get the job done right.”

The LAND-PAK system comes in two configurations for maximum flexibility. Tthe LAND-PAK Survey System that includes both a base and rover with integrated UHF radios plus 3G for use with Network RTK. Also available is a 3G RTK Network rover system with optional UHF radio module.
