October 1 is Deadline for UPINLBS-2010 Conference Registration
September 28, 2010The deadline for registration is October 1 for the international Ubiquitous Positioning, Indoor Navigation, and Location Based Service conference (UPINLBS-2010), sponsored by the Finnish Geodetic Institute.
The conference includes sessions on multi-constellation GNSS issues, wireless network and sensor fusion, pedestrian and indoor navigation, and 3D modeling/ and application development for indoor navigation applications. The conference will follow the IEEE standard.
The conference will be held October 14–15 in Helsinki, Finland, at Congress Hotel Majvik in Kirkkonummi, Finland, close to the Finnish Geodetic Institute. A local train connection is available near the hotel to downtown Helsinki.
Keynote speakers are:
- Günter Hein, European Space Agency
- Gérard Lachapelle, University of Calgary, Canada
- Jari Syrjärinne, Nokia Inc., Finland
- Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska, The Ohio State University, USA, and GPS World Tech Talk Blog editor.
