Javad Ashjaee


Javad Ashjaee obtained a B.S. degree in physics; M.S. in mathematics, and M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa. He was chairman of Computer Engineering Department, Tehran University of Technology, 1976-1981. He began his GPS engineering career at Trimble Navigation, 1981-1986. Founder and president of Ashtech Inc., 1986-1995; founder and CEO of Javad Positioning Systems, 1996-2000, which he sold to Topcon Corporation in 2000. He is currently president and CEO of Javad Navigation Systems.
