The Advanced Data Link (ADL) Sentry is a UHF radio for remote communications. A high-speed data radio modem designed for rugged environments of remote sensing, machine control, and environmental monitoring, it joins a product lineup comprising the ADL Foundation, a transceiver OEM modem board; the ADL RXO, a receive-only OEM board; and the ADL Vantage, a 4-Watt programmable UHF radio for survey applications; and a range of antenna, power, mounting, and cabling accessories.

The ADL Sentry is a 0.1-4.0 Watt radio modem that is backward compatible with existing Pacific Crest, Trimble, and other products. With metal construction, it resists impacts and electromagnetic interference, has an IP67 rating, is completely sealed against dust, and can survive immersion in up to a meter of water for approximately 30 minutes.

The ADL Sentry is available in two 40 MHz frequency bands (390-430 and 430-470 MHz) to cover the full commercial UHF band. Users can select from available channel tables in either 12.5 or 25 kHz channel bandwidth. It offers high bit rates to easily handle large data packets and configuration control commands on the same channel.
