Next GLONASS Launch Set for December 5

Roscosmos has announced that the next GLONASS launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome will occur on December 5 at 13:25 Moscow Time (UTC + 3 hours). Three GLONASS-M satellites (Block 43) will be launched. Two of the satellites have already been shipped to Baikonur from Zheleznogorsk. The third will be shipped later this month.

The launch of the first GLONASS-K satellite from Plesetsk is expected in December. The NASA Forum website lists the projected launch date as December 24.
