Digital Map Provider AND Releases its First Map of the USA

AND Automotive Navigation Data announced the release of their first map of the USA. The full digital map of the USA is now available for commercial use. The map is optimized for geocoding.

The map contains all roads, streets, cities and villages. The map is a vector-based digital road map, optimized for geocoding, route planning, time-distance calculations and optimization studies. The new map can be used by online companies, social networks, blogs etc for geocoding, routing and map viewing.

Chief Executive Officer Maarten Oldenhof: “ The finalization of the digital map of the United States of America proves that AND is committed to developing new maps. Our course is clear. We want to expand our portfolio and we are willing and able to invest in product development. Large clients support this strategy and following their demand we have developed a digital map of the USA optimized for geocoding and reversed geocoding. I believe this proves that our independent position works out successfully.”

According to the announcement, AND is the third largest supplier in its market, but the only independent one. Strengthened by its success to date, the company will continue to focus on creating long-term value for shareholders by providing digital maps for location-based services.
