Synopsis:
I know what you're thinking. What the heck does this have to do with GIS? Well, I attend the conference for two reasons. The first is because I have many clients in the golf business. The second is because both GIS and GPS are critical technologies in the golf industry. Look out soon for an article on GPS golf cart technology.

Conference: Land Surveyor's Association of Washington Annual Meeting
Location: Tacoma, WA
Participation:
I've been invited to participate in a Panel Discussion with several individuals discussing RTK Networks (RTN)...pros, cons, whatever. Should be a good discussion. The panel includes Gavin Schrock, Administrator of the Washington State RTN.

On Sunday, April 25 I'm presenting a 1/2 day workshop entitled "How the Evolution of GPS Is Transforming Surveying and Mapping" along with Pamela Fromhertz of NGS.
On Wednesday, April 28th, I'm presenting a technical paper entitled "GNSS Technology Update" at the ACSM conference.
