Esri Publishes Social Networking-Based Australian Flood Damage Map

Esri published a map that uses trend analysis to visualize community reports related to the flooding in Queensland, Australia. The Ushahidi social network allows anyone to report incidents via SMS, e-mail or the web.

You can view all categories to understand the distribution of reports or filter by category and time to get a better understanding of spatial and temporal trends. Silverlight is required.
