Tallysman Wireless Launches TW2012, TW3012, TW3032 GPS Brickwall Filtered Antennas
July 5, 2011
Tallysman Wireless Inc. today announces the release of the TW2012, TW3012 & TW3032 GPS brickwall filtered antennas.
These antennas by Tallysman Wireless are professional grade, dual-filtered GPS L1 antennas, specially designed for precision positioning and timing applications in environments characterized by high L-Band RF fields (such as LightSquared interference). They feature a precisely tuned ceramic patch element, a tight SAW pre-filter, a first LNA gain stage, a mid-section SAW filter, and a final gain stage.
The antennas cover the GPS L1 and SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS) frequency band (1572.5 to 1578 MHz), and they offer out-of-band signal rejection and excellent axial ratio for improved signal reception and multipath rejection, the company said.
Applications:
- Anti-Jamming and Mission Critical GPS
- Military and Security
- Precision Agriculture, Mining, and Construction
- Avionics
- Law Enforcement and Public Safety
- Fleet Management and Asset Tracking
The TW2012 is housed in a magnet mount enclosure, and comes with a bulkhead SMA female connector, or with 5 metres of cable and a wide range of connector.
The TW3012 is housed in a low-profile permanent enclosure, and comes with a TNC female connector.
The TW3032 is housed in a domed shaped enclosure. Available in dark gray or white, it comes with a TNC female connector and a L-bracket for mast mount is available.
