New Details of 24+3 GPS Configuration Released

While the Global Positioning System Standard Positioning Service Performance Standard provides some level of detail about the 24+3 configuration, the new information released also illustrates the other three satellites that are being slightly repositioned.

The following graphic illustrates the repositioning of SVN 24, SVN, 26 and SVN49. It also illustrates the "shifted slots" of an additional three satellites (SVN56, SVN46, SVN55) that are being slightly repositioned.
